8.2% - 8.6% CPI Inflation in September, 10% still to come
In this video, we are discussing the preliminary estimates as far as how much CPI inflation is likely to be released in September. This is going to be the latest inflation reading Released in September on the behalf of August. Inflation is very very high right now and it is represented by the monthly economic data represented as the consumer price index. This is also very important for fixed income beneficiaries of Social Security, retirement, SSDI, SSI, survivors benefits and VA beneficiaries. All of these beneficiaries receive an annual cost of living adjustment otherwise known as COLA raise to monthly benefits. The annual raise to benefits is predicated on how much inflation there currently is as represented by the CPIW, consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers. This next inflation reading will be very very important and give us a glimpse into what inflation will be doing going forward. we are talking about the preliminary estimates as far as how much inflation will likely be according to analysts and experts for the next cpi data point released in mid September. We will continue watching the September CPI, September consumer price index and September inflation data.
