Nigeria's Super Falcons advanced to the Women's World Cup knockout stage after a goalless draw with the Republic of Ireland. Uchenna Kanu came close to scoring for Nigeria, but Courtney Brosnan's impressive save denied them. Ireland, though eliminated, celebrated their first-ever point in the tournament.
