A tragic fire at the Aricell lithium battery factory in Hwaseong, South Korea, has resulted in the reported discovery of 20 bodies. The fire, which broke out on June 24, has already claimed the life of one male employee and left another in critical condition. Emergency responders continue to search for missing workers, as 21 individuals were initially reported unaccounted for. The incident began with a series of battery cell explosions in a storage unit containing approximately 35,000 battery cells. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire while rescue efforts are ongoing.
