I finally received my iPhone 12 Pro Max and I've been shooting East Nanjing Road and the Bund. This time it is the Bund footage.
No exposure adjustments are made. I just launched the standard camera app and tapped the record button. I also do not do any color correction or color grading.
This time I'm trying 30fps and 60fps with an ultra wide lens. Both were noisy and unusable. I should have tried 30 fps with a standard wide lens. The Bund is darker than the last time I shot East Nanjing Road, and the noise was a bit noticeable at 60 fps with standard wide lens.
The iPhone sometimes has a strange switching of exposure compensation. This is most noticeable with ultra-wide lenses, but it also happens with standard wide lenses. I hope this will be improved in future software updates.
