BREAKING: Fire At South Korea Battery Plant Kills At Least One, Injures Three | News9

A fire at a lithium battery factory in Hwaseong, South Korea, owned by Aricell, resulted in the death of one male employee in his 60s and left another person in critical condition. The fire, which broke out at 10:31 a.m. on June 24, was triggered by a series of battery cell explosions in a storage unit housing around 35,000 products. Two other individuals who inhaled smoke have been treated and released. Out of the 67 workers present at the time, 21 remain unaccounted for and are potentially trapped inside the facility. Emergency services are actively searching for the missing workers as investigations into the cause of the fire continue.
