I've been back in the UK for the last 6 weeks or so, but immediately upon my return, I was invited to the Panasonic LUMIX Global Summit, here in Osaka, Japan.
During the event, the LUMIX S9 was announced and I've been able to test it out over the last week. It's an enjoyable camera and offers some great features, albeit with a few hardware drawbacks. But there's one aspect in particular that sets it apart from the competition — the in-camera editing controls.
As you'll know, I've enjoyed having JPEG-only days for a number of years now, especially when out socially with my camera. But other than Fujifilm, no camera has satisfied me with in-camera controls, until now.
