FOMC Meet Takeaways: Eye On The Globe: US Fed Meet Outcome: Quite along the expected lines, the US Federal Reserve, on Wednesday, kept the key rates unchanged citing a 'lack of further progress on inflation'. In a statement, issued at the end of the two-day FOMC meeting, the Federal Reserve, headed by Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said that greater confidence was needed that inflation is moving sustainably towards 2%.
